1.Day: Istanbul – Arrival
Meeting with the guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
2.Day: Sahabahs of Istanbul and Islamic Tour.
breakfast, departure from the hotel. First, visit to the grand mosque Eyup Sultan which was built in 1458. that, we visit the tombs of the Sahabes which is very famous in Turkey representing the first generation of Muslims, who have come as far as Istanbul and spreaded the city. The small Sahabe Cemetery just outside Egrikapi Gate may seem like a standard Muslim cemetery. The Suleymaniye Mosque has a great significance when its historical and cultural context is understood . Then we go to the Spice Bazaar and Panoramic Ahi Evran Celebi mosque Overnight in Istanbul.
3.Day: Historical Istanbul Culture and City Tour
After breakfast, departure from the hotel. Visit to the ancient Basilica Hagia Sophia, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, which is one of the architectural marvels all of times. Topkapı Palace is one of the the greatest palaces of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Sultanahmet the Blue Mosque, across the Hagia Sophia was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Moving on to the Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. After a lunch break, moving on to the Grand Bazaar. In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4,000 shops having their own areas: the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes. After the tour, transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
4.Day: Istanbul – Sogut(Ertugrul Gazı) – Bursa Tour
After an early breakfast, departure from the hotel and drive to Bursa for a daily guided tour in Bursa. Our first visit is Sogut. We go to Bursa- Sogut which is the first place that Ottoman was settled in that region. Then we visit to Ertugrul Gazi tomb and his Masjid. Sogut Hukumet Square, Celebi Mehmet Han mosque , Karakecili Park, Hamidiye Mosque, Kaymakam (Governor) founding, and, at the end of our tour we visit Turkish Victory Historical Monument. Then we drive to Bursa. Ulucamii (Great Mosque), Cumalikizik Village, Green Mosque, Green Tomb, Ozdilek Factory. After Bursa City tour departure for Istanbul . Overnight in Istanbul.
5.Day: Istanbul – Departure Day
After breakfast check out from the hotel. Transfer to airport hoping to welcome you again on one of our excursions with us soon.
Please Note: Hagia Sophia is open on every day, Topkapi Palace closed on Tuesdays, Grand Bazaar closed on Sundays. If your tour is on one of these days we would offer you to visit Underground Cistern instead of Topkapi palace museum, instead of Grand Baazar you visit Spice Bazaar.
