We are going to Karlovci (Karlovca) which dates back to 700 BC, is one of the most important places in Serbia. The first Serbian secondary school and college was established here, and until 1922 this town was the center of the Serbian Orthodox Church. City Council, Catholic Church, Four Lions fountain are the other important places to see. The town of Karlovci signed in 1699 an important agreement with Ottoman Empire. After a short free time, we are moving to Novi Sad, the capital city of Vojvodina. Our first stop after a short journey is at Petrovardin Castle. After a short walk tour we have a chance to see the wonderful Novi Sad scenery. Then we move to the center of Novi Sad. 3. Day: Belgrade – Zemun – Avala Tower

After breakfast, we are going to a boat tour on the Danube River. You will be enjoying the magnificent nature of Belgrade and river. This unforgettable boat tour takes about 1.5 hours. Then heading to Zemun where you can see the most beautiful views of Belgrade. Next station is Avala Tower (currently the tallest tower in the Balkans, 204 m). It was the only tower in the world to have an equilateral triangle as its cross section, and one of very few towers not perched directly into the ground, but standing on its legs. The legs formed a tripod, the symbol of Serbian tripod chair. It is one of the rare towers to be constructed in that manner.
